Variable Speed Pulleys

Variable–speed pulleys describe equipment used to control the speed of machinery. Many industrial processes such as assembly lines must operate at different speeds for different products. Where process conditions demand adjustment of flow from a pump or fan, varying the speed of the drive may save energy compared with other techniques for flow control.

Mi–Lock Pulleys

Spring applied safety brakes offer high operational security for all applications, protecting personnel, machines and equipment, reliably braking for positioning or holding duties or for sudden machine stops for emergency OFF or power failure.

SPZ Pulleys

• Most commonly used in light application such as: Fan and small pump.
• Drive range: 7 – 143 N/m.
• Groove dimension (w x h): 10 x 8 mm.
• Standard Pitch Diameter: 50 – 800 mm.
• Number of Groove: 1 – 8 Groove.

SPA Pulleys

• Drive range: 19 – 270 N/m.
• Groove dimension (w x h): 13 x 6 mm.
• Standard Pitch Diameter: 63 – 1000 mm.
• Number of Groove: 1 – 6 Groove.

SPB Pulleys

• Drive range: 45 – 995 N/m.
• Groove dimension (w x h): 16 x 13 mm.
• Standard Pitch Diameter: 100 – 1250 mm.
• Number of Groove: 1 – 10 Groove.

SPC Pulleys

• Drive range: 250 – 4700 N/m.
• Groove dimension (w x h): 22 x 18 mm.
• Standard Pitch Diameter: 200 – 1250 mm.
• Number of Groove: 3 – 10 Groove.

• Martin has the capacity to produce a wide range of Made-To-Order Pulleys with the same quality standards as the original stock line of taper bushed pulleys.
• Martin can alter dimensions such as hub location, length through bore, to meet desired requirements.
• These pulleys are normally Bored-To-Size and are furnished with standard keyway and two set screws as indicated.
• Most can be furnished in QD or Taper Bushed style hubs.
